In March 2017, shortly after returning from my trip to Amsterdam. I got bitten by the wanderlust bug and I started actively looking for new opportunities to escape. Even if just for a weekend. Little did I know that in that month LEVEL airlines was to be announced as a new Budget Long-Haul Airline.

Daily browsing through the web, I stumbled upon a number that wasn’t right, it looked like an error. There was no way. Los Angeles -> Barcelona Round-Trip for $230. I couldn’t believe it. I checked the dates and because I couldn’t leave work for a full week I started getting demoralized. I tried changing the dates for just the weekend. From Thursday-Monday but there was no flights available. Ready to quit… I did some research and I was able to route Los Angeles to Barcelona, Barcelona to Oakland. I quickly looked for a Southwest flight to complete and boom! There, the itinerary was complete. The Total amount paid for round trip flights was $250! I couldn’t believe it, I called all my friends and see who could join me and shortly after the calls we were onto a new adventure.
